Jacob Blatt, President

Mr. Blatt has over 25 years of real estate investment and management experience in residential, commercial & mixed-use projects in internationally. He is engaged in all real estate investment decisions for various privately held investment companies.

 

Prior to founding Sun Holdings Group and various other real estate investment companies, Mr. Blatt was an accountant and tax consultant with Y. Blatt & Company and Cost Levari (later became Ernst & Young) for 12 years.

 

Mr. Blatt is a graduate of Tel Aviv University with a degree in economics and accountancy.

Ido Blatt, Principal

Located in Houston, TX, Ido leads the group’s acquisition and asset management platform.

 

Ido holds a L.L.B. (Law) and B.A. (Business Administration; Entrepreneurship) degrees from the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya, graduating with honors cum laude.

 

In addition to being a member of the Israeli Bar Association, Ido is also a graduate of the Zell Entrepreneurship Program.

Kendra Roberts, Director of Property Management

As the Director of Property Management at SYNC, Kendra leads a team of regional managers and oversees the day to day on site operations.   She works in conjunction with the corporate support team to continuously enhance systems, develop policies and procedures and implement best practices to optimize overall property performance.

She holds her CAM designation and MLA certification. Kendra is an active member of the Atlanta Apartment Association and IREM.

Chris McWilliams, Director of Training and Development

Chris worked in property management for over 10 years in leasing, bookkeeping, management, software training, and information management. 

 

Chris oversees all aspects of Training and Development for SYNC Residential, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Houston, and has a CAM certification from the National Apartment Association

Dwayne Griffen, Regional Property
Manager

Over the past year, Dwayne has been the property manager at SYNC at West Midtown in Atlanta.  Prior to joining SYNC, he was a Regional Manager at Radco Residential.

Dwayne’s keen eye for detail, trainer mentality, & his approach to leadership is what makes him ideal for leading and overseeing the Houston Portfolio's success.

Neva Legg, Regional Property Manager

Neva is overseeing the SYNC Residential portfolio in San Antonio, Austin, San Marcos, & Houston, Texas, currently comprised of six apartment communities.

Neva has been active in the multifamily industry since 2001. With a passion for coaching and developing teams, Neva has extensive management experience in class A apartment community, and has served on SAAA committees.

Leslie Thaxton,
Regional Manager

Leslie is currently overseeing properties in Georgia. She brings over 20 years of multi-family experience in the Southeast. Leslie's extensive leadership role made her passionate about the onsite teams and dedicated to their growth.  Leslie has a strong focus on revenue growth and providing the residents with a clean and happy place to call home.

Frank Ewing,
Regional Manager

Frank will be responsible for overseeing and supporting part of our expanding Texas portfolio. Frank brings more than 18 years of experience in the property management industry.

Jennifer Vromant, Controller

Jennifer started in multi-family in 2009 as a leasing agent, and also handled the accounting for SYNC Residential prior to it being brought in-house. She is responsible for the reporting of financial information at multiple levels, & expense and escrow analysis to provide optimal cash flow for operations and distributions. Jennifer is a Mensa member with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Marketing from Baylor University.

Nick Murphy,
Director of Aquisitions

Nick is responsible for the identification & evaluation of new acquisitions for SHG and works extensively with the management team on assets across the  portfolio.

 

Nick’s professional background includes seven years in Capital Markets for KeyBank & Berkadia, where he was responsible for underwriting and loan originations for multifamily and commercial real estate assets.

Nick holds a Master’s in Real Estate Development from the Arizona State University and a degree in Entrepreneurship from St. Edwards University in Austin, TX

Michael Hemond,
Maintenance Director

Michael oversees maintenance operations for the SYNC Residential portfolio.  Working closely with the regional managers and executive team, Michael helps write and implement all maintenance related policies and procedures to ensure our maintenance teams are operating efficiently.  He is a key member of our due diligence and acquisition team aiding in numerous successful acquisition takeovers.

Jered Mansell
Training & Development
Director

Jered joined SYNC with fifteen years of property management experience having worked for some of the most prestigious companies in the multi-family industry. He is responsible for leading the training and development team and ensuring effective and efficient design and delivery of best-in-class training materials to our onsite management teams.

 

Jered holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and Bachelor's degrees in Economics, Political Science, Sociology, and Religious Studies from the University of Arizona.

Jeff Levey,
Director of Asset Management

Jeff is responsible for providing analysis on asset performance and working closely with the management team to drive value throughout the portfolio. His role also includes identifying and pursuing new acquisitions for SHG. 

Jeff’s professional background includes 10 years in Asset Management for Lone Star Funds/Hudson Advisors.

Jeff holds a Finance – Bachelors of Science in Business from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.

Nancy Lee,
Marketing Manager

Nancy oversees all aspects of marketing and brand management for SYNC Residential.

Nancy joined SYNC Residential in 2019, bringing over 20 years of experience in marketing and training, and specializes in online optimization and digital media for various grades of apartment communities.

Leya Nguyen, Human Resources Director

Leya joins SYNC Residential with several years of experience in Human Resources in the multifamily industry. She is a strategic HR leader with a flexible problem-solving approach that balances company goals with employee needs. Leya will play a key role by developing and implementing HR initiatives that align closely with our company's vision resulting in increased performance, employee engagement, and profitability.

Will Gerdes,
Regional Maintenance Supervisor

"Will began his maintenance career as a porter with SYNC Residential. He quickly climbed roles through the company by implementing great on-site management techniques and cost-analysis for maintenance related issues. He currently works directly with our maintenance director, Michael Hemond, and aides SYNC's on-site maintenance teams through implementation of SYNC's policies and procedures as well as training maintenance teams on issues within the maintenance field."
